*sorry i dont update nearly as much as i should but ive been pretty busy with all these finals and regents'. its a good thing tomorrow is the last one... thank the lord for 3 day weekends! well yesterday was fathers day and my family and i went over to my aunts house to celebrate fathers day and my grandpas birthday. it was fun, but very cold. me and my little sister had fun races in my aunt and uncles backyard in flip flops. it was interesting... she won. oh well... im the better swimmer :)
*today i have music lessons and i dont think theyre going to go pretty well considering i havent practiced because of all the hardcore studying ive been doing. she wont understand even if i tell her... oh well. ive been doing some practice italian regents' and i think ill do pretty well on the real thing. ONE MORE TEST TO GO! im so excited... then summer will finally be here! :)
*this wendnesday my aunt and her family is coming to visit and im really excited to see my cousins! and my grandma is coming on friday to visit, too. and you know what that means... another maietta cleaning party. grrrr.  but its all worth it in the end!
*on saturday my dear friend jos asked me to join her on another trip to atlantique.  lol. we took the ferry there and spent the day. we saw a few people we knew at the beach. we layed around played on the playground (the see-saw and the swings) haha i swear we're not two!  when we were waiting for the ferry though i got SUNBURNED! it really hurt a lot and i didnt think to put on sunscreen... I DEFINITELY LEARNED MY LESSON! now im really paying for my stupid mistake. i practically put on aloe every second.  when we got home i had dinner and then went straight to bed (8:00pm!) and woke up the next day at 8:30am... that was by far the longest ive ever been to sleep for! 
*well now i better get back to studying and practicing my clarinet... yipee!!! not.

i <3 orlando bloom... and blue slurpees :)
yes im trying out a new look... i was getting kind of sick of the pink and some people need change. well today was kind of boring. i watched pirates of the caribbean... i almost forgot how much i LOVE orlando bloom! im ashamed of myself. well anyways after that i went outside a little and played a little solo baseball, but stopped shortly after hitting the huge window in my playroom with the baseball (its a good thing it was plastic) yea one time i actually hit a real softball at the garage and the window broke so that wasnt good, but ive learned from my mistakes! so after that jen drove up to 7-11 so i could get a BLUE SLURPEE before we went to the train station. after that i went outside and read for a while... yes I WAS READING. lol, i dont read too often, but it was fun because its a nice day and i was getting some color... yay! well at first it was burn, but its wearing away so itll probably be tan by tomorrow. so yea my sunday was pretty boring... but my friday and saturday werent.
on friday my mom brought me and my sis to the mall to buy some new spring clothes with our gift cards! i bought some new short shorts haha and some capris and some shirt and two pairs of sandals. :) i love sandals.
on saturday my dad, my uncle and i went to buy some plants and flowers for outside. it was fun picking out flowers, i dont know why... but i got some color so that was good. my dad and i planted the flowers and plants later and it took a few hours. yea i helped by filling up the bowl with water to mix the miracle-gro. but i also got to plant a few flowers. while being out there for so long i got a "farmers tan." lol its funny. so that was my saturday.
so now im just bored out of my mind... maybe ill go upstairs in the AIR CONDITIONING!

*well i made it through just about the most scary thunder storm last night! i thought my eyes were gunna stay shut because they were open for so long... plus i thought i was going to die! i hate thunderstorms... i dont know why. i know its nothing to be scared about but the random loud noises scares me. and what really scares me is you never know when its gunna be a loud CRACK... it mite be a little rumble the first time and the next time it might be this HUGE bang! i dont know, now im just rambling about thunderstorms. well anyways today was okay. my math quiz was pretty hard so i was disappointed about that, but i think i did okay. i mean i didnt fail, but i didnt get a 20/20. anyways, its very nice out today. it would have been better if our schools a little cooler, especially during lunch. haha me and nicole were taking strange pics and everyone was staring at us. especially that stuckup table i dont like. they looked like they werent having any fun. anyways... i always looked like i was either dying or constipated in the pics and nicole was just making weird faces, as usual haha. jk 143 but who knew that just by taking pics and laughing at them, you could get so hot? by the end of the period we were sweating. haha arent you glad i told you that? im sure you are. so anyways, after school i had to take some bio test for the awards nite... it was okay, i wish i wouldve studied aerobic respiration more cause it seemed thats all that was on the test. so tonite i have to go to the school for some "celebrate education" thing to play il mio clarinetto in for clarinet choir. hopefully ill get out of there as soon as possible and i wont miss AMERICAN IDOL. :) the ONE TREE HILL finale is on after that at 9:00... yay im so excited. so yea i gotta do that plus study for an italian quiz, those irregular verbs really screwed me up... oh well. plus i have an ss test my teacher decides to tell us today! wow shes so smart. well i gots to go... :)

*okay so the next morning we skipped breakfast because it was optional and we still had plenty of food left over from the nite before. kelly was lazy and slept an extra 20 mins than me and laur. haha. but we still made it out to the bus in time. but there was a delay. some girls didnt wake up in time so we had to wait 15 mins for them. so we finally were headed to kings dominion!
i had a blast! we went on the free fall ride first and i thought kelly was gunna lose her breakfast. lol. but it was fun! then we went on the ride that goes straight up and straight down. it was so much fun and kellys hair was haha ummm frazzled from the wind haha. mine too. i think after that we went and got lunch. we waited a little while before going on another ride. we were waiting on the line for the stand up ride, but they decided to shut it down for testing right when we were almost there. grrr. but then me and laur went on the ride that went upside down and twisted you around and it also went under the water in some "tunnel." i think after this i had my "overheat." this sometimes happens to me when my body overheats and i start sweating a lot and my face burns up, and i was dehydrated from having no water, and that gives me a headache and i felt dizzy. yea im a mess. so i went to get a bottle of water at the machine but it turned out it was $3.00! well i put my three dollars in and it ate my money! so i had to stop and get a huge lemonade and a bottle of water. i felt much better!
after that me and laur went on the volcano ride, but the wait was like an hour so kelly was "abandoned." i felt really bad, i shouldve listened to laur when she said it was gunna be a long wait... but kelly bought really pretty earrings. lol. then we went on the stand up ride (that i was in the very front by myself on) haha it was awesome! then laur and kelly went on the water rafting ride and they got their butts all wet! i didnt wanna go on cause i didnt wanna be all wet for the bus ride home. well then we had to leave, but we had time to stop in the gift shop before we left. laur bought some shorts and i was gunna buy a sippy cup but i wouldve felt embarssed buying it. haha. so we went to the bus and everyone was like "whoa youre burned!" i know i was like a lobster, but it was better after it wore away over the next few days.
the bus ride home was very interesting! well first the girls that had to rush out of their rooms that morning forgot their pillows, wallets, and cellphones so we had to stop and get them at the hotel. at this time they were playing "independence day" to occupy us. the bus drivers got lost and had to find their way back onto the highway. we went through cow town. someone would say "theres a cow" and then everyone would say "COW!" and they were making animal noises. it was quite funny the first time, but after that it got kind of annoying. then we saw some random house with doors on the first and second floors... hmmmm weird!? so we finally got to the hotel (after passing a gas station that looked like the one from texas chainsaw massacre). mr e kept saying how he wouldve had the hotel mail their things to them, which i agree to, but mr krais said it was on the way so we had to stop. by this time the movie was over and we were already 2 hrs late. so they popped in another movie "ferris buellers day off" it was the first time ive ever actually watched the whole thing. during the movie i was flashing kelly with my cell phone lite haha and she was blinded. lol. a few times. luv u kelly!
so they said we were to stop when we got into delaware (which i didnt know was a state) haha. maybe i forgot... dont remember. so by the time the movie was over we were at the rest stop. i got a cinnabon even though i CANT STAND the smell and it gives me a tummy ache, but i didnt eat the whole thing. what a waste, but the hot chocolate was very tasty! so when we got back on the bus they put in some adam sandler movie ive never seen ummm "billy madison" maybe. i dont know all i remember seeing was when he was going to go back to school and then i fell asleep and when i woke up he was graduating college i think it was. and at the same time kelly stole my pillow! haha. so we were almost home so i called my dad and he drove me and kelly home. well it was a good band trip, as all badn trips are, to me! some people didnt like it, but me, lauren, and kelly made the best of what we had. luv you girls!  << picture theres another person there<< it was fun and i wanna do it again! wells i gots to go... later.

*yes... i know the band trip was over a week ago, but ive been so busy lately w/ counties and nyssma i had no time to update. so lets talk a little about this famous band trip!
it all started at 3:30 am when we were to report to the band room. i was half asleep when my dad dropped me off. we waited about 5 mins and they started loading the buses. i got confussled when they made bus 1 the second bus and a bus 2 the first bus. but i had help because kelly and lauren were there to help guide me. so as mr krais said, the bus was rolling at 4am. me and kelly sat next to each other and lauren sat behind us. lauren slept almost the whole time, but i didnt. well i did a little, but not a lot. i had some sour cream and onion pringles at around 5:00. when we were in nyc we were looking for the "gangs" and "hoes" excuse my french, on the street corners. there were some. my portable dvd player wasnt working and i was mad because i wanted to watch freaky friday and so did kelly. well we were late to the clinic with mr maiello at george mason university. but symphonic band was on first so me and kelly got to chill. there were about a zillion girls changing in the bathroom, and some in the hallways. some girls had to do the clinic in the clothes they were wearing on the bus (some in pajamas!) but wind ensemble had more time to get changed so we were in our "gowns." ugh i hate that dress. well i like the guy better than boonshaft. some say we should have a boonshaft vs. maiello "conduct-off." haha. that was funny. we left for mount vernon and played on the grass for the people going into george's house. we shoved down our food for lunch, but made it in time for the playing.
then we left for the hotel. dun dun dun. kelly, lauren, and me had a long talk on the way to the hotel. it was a little catch-up between the three of us. well we finally got there and i was designated the "key getter" haha it was dumb, but i was glad didnt have to do very much. haha. we got to our room... via elevator. haha. well we were room 209. home sweet home. kelly took about the fastest shower ive every witnessed before we had to leave for the dinner theatre. the dinner theatre ha. but before we left we put all of our food on the table. there was a lot! we filled up the whole table. haha... PIGS!! oink oink. then we left for the dinner theatre. the food was alright, but the show sucked. it was way too long and it was boring. the people were out of tune and the main characters annoyed me. i slept through some of it... most of it :) then we got to leave... yes! we were going back to the hotel. well that took about 30 mins, and i took a little nap on the way there so i would be awake for the loooooong nite we were about to endure. haha.
well the first thing i wanted to do was to order my cot. no one was answering the desks so we decided i was to sleep on two chairs and an ottoman put together. i guess kelly really wanted to me not to sleep with her cause she was the first to lift the chair haha jk. it was soooo funny. i turned around and she had this chair in midair. haha. it was too funny. i took a picture. then we started to chow down on some grub. the pringles were the first to go. lol. then some popcorn and gummy worms and pull n' peel twizzlers (that kelly braids) haha. we told numerous amounts of stories, none which shall repeated. haha. but i liked laurens the best! haha. then mr krais and mr kaufman came in our room and at the same time i threw our food under the bed. they just told us some needed information. then we talked for about another 3 hours. it was great. we got some calls let me say from so people 3 times and it was hilarious! i took another picture. then it was time to hit the sack. my couch bed was very comfortable, and i didnt think it was gunna so i was very surprised.
the next day is very long so ill write about it later. its very sad if you read this whole entry! get a life!*

Happy Easter! 
*today was fun... me and my sister went looking for the eggs my mom hid.  she found her seven pretty quickly, but my egg detecting skills must have gotten worse. i only found three and i needed help. lol. but i found them all... eventually. i got $3.25. so did my sister... its only fair. i got in my easter basket a lot of chocolate and i also got the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN dvd. i was excited! i got a huge hollow bunny, but i also got a solid chocolate bunny later from uj (for all you who dont know... thats my uncle!!) lol.
*then i had to work on my persuasive essay for english. i have to say that i did get pretty far though. after i worked on that i had to clean up the playroom for our easter shin-dig which started at abot 4:00. we had my aunt and uncles come over... nothing big. i was ate my first potato chip since lent started. it was yummy... especially with dip. mmmmm. we had dinner and then came the good stuff... dessert! we had homemade cheesecake that my mom made with cherries. i didnt know how filling cheesecake is until today. then we had some cookies my aunt and uncle brought over. they were good, except a lot of it was lemon flavored... blech!
*i watched extreme makeover: home edition. i love that show! it makes me a little teary eyed tho...  teehee. they made someone an elevator in this familys house because this kid was in a wheelchair. it was cute tho. then i watched the nick and jessica variety show. omg. it was pretty dumb... especially the beginning. "we're not gunna sing or dance!" omg i was gunna shoot myself. the outfits she was wearing... omg. i saw more of jessica simpson than i really needed to see. but the dumbest part was when nick was singing with the car. oh god. jessicas and jewels duet was ehh. she looked "POSESSED" as my sister said. i thought she went a little too far when she was making fun of the mousketeers. lol. but their rendition of "i got you babe" was alright. so that was that.
*but now im watching the sandlot and let me say the guy named benny is pretty cute. wells i gots to go... happy easter everyone!

*its so nice out today!  teehee. today was a sleep in day today. yea but i had chores to do. i had to clean the bathroom ugh i hate that. and then i had to practice my nyssma solo.  lalala. i love these smileys!
tomorrow is easter and im excited for the "maietta's traditional egg hunt" in the morning. basically, my parents hide plastic eggs with money in it and me and my little sister try to find them all. it was a lot of fun when we were little, but now its a race to see who can get them the fastest. I WANT CANDY!
yesterday me and my sis colored our eggs and mine look cool. kristen used the wrip-off pipette thingy (haha pipettes from bio), but it was cool how long easter egg dying has come since we were little... haha but they still use the smelly vinegar. we're gunna have some people come over tomorrow.
i was outside a little today and we played baseball and soccer and the guys working on the house next door kept having to get our balls. i love that the houses on both sides of us are working on their houses and at 8am they start banging. grrr it was annoying but i slept through it. wow its still light outside and its 6:18... its so weird! wells i gots to go!
